Protecting water sources and the environment are key priorities of the European legislation. Pesticides used in agriculture are one of the most significant contaminants of water. The residual action of pesticides for controlling weeds and other pests applied on the soil or crop surface pose high risks for contaminating water sources. A major role in this issue is drift when pesticides are applied. As a result the drift can contaminate neighbouring land and water even when current anti-drift products are used. We have discovered new safe ingredients that have the ability to dramatically reduce drift when applying pesticides. The end product will have the ability to reduce significantly the risk of contaminating water with pesticides.
