ZEDCo are developing engines specifically for use with high Energy Return on Energy Invested minimally processed woody biomass fuels. We have working prototypes for two new key components, a simple, highly efficient combustion unit and a non-contaminating, high torque, rotary expansion motor. At this stage we are working on a Rankine cycle condensing engine design and have applied to the TSB for an innovation voucher to develop our IP strategy.
