Public Funding for Bloume Health Ltd

Bloume Health is London-based female startup focused on changing the way women with chronic pelvic pain (CPP) are treated and supported. CPP is an umbrella term for conditions that affects 1 in 3 women in the UK: Endometriosis, Vulvodynia, and Vaginismus. These long-term conditions significantly impact women's lives through persistent pain, mental health repercussions, and sex/relationship difficulties. Current healthcare pathways often involve delayed diagnoses and inadequate long-term support, leading to increased NHS costs and substantial personal economic burdens. Through our project, 'Bloume with me', we are developing the first AI-driven, personalised digital care app specifically for women suffering from CPP. Our support is multidisciplinary, integrating pain management, pelvic floor physiotherapy, and sex/relationship therapy. Our solution is grounded in precision medicine, with AI technology tailoring therapy to each woman's unique needs, symptoms, and goals. This adaptive support promises improved health outcomes, reducing healthcare inefficiencies and costs associated with repeated medical consultations. Our 12-month project involves developing and evaluating 'Bloume with me', ensuring its feasibility and commercial potential. By engaging potential customers and stakeholders, we aim to establish a viable, user-centered solution to long-term CPP management.
