Karltons is an Education Consultants specialising in providing a range of educational Science camps/tours for Chinese children and their families here in the UK. This comprises of Science, Maths and English lessons as well as cultural awareness and understanding lessons, as well as trips to tourist locations including Oxford, Cambridge and London, many with an educational theme. These types of trips are very popular with the Chinese market, although predominately in the US. This has resulted in being a massive win for the US educational market which the UK has missed out on, even though the UK educational system is highly regarded in China. There is tremendous growth potential for this type of thing which both we, the University of Surrey and the UK could benefit from greatly.
Each Chinese visitor we have bought to the University has commented on how wonderful the University and its facilities are and has created many new ambassadors who are already recommending Surrey to their friends and families, so of which are already signing up for further courses or looking send their children to study here in higher education.
