They encompass most chronic Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) such as cardiovascular conditions, cancers, diabetes, arthritis, neurodegenerative disorders, and bowel diseases. Chronic Inflammatory Diseases (cIDs) are a major cause of sickness and premature death globally.
