Scott and Shaun were brought together initially by NICA on a summer project undertaken for a large FMCG company. Both are post-graduate students at NU specialising in deep learning and communications respectively. Scott and Shaun independently developed additional architecture in support of developing their own scientific services business based on introductions to research teams made by NICA. NICA provided business mentoring and signposted to student start-up support and ERDF and provided appropriate support leading to the formation of their company, Neura Technologies Ltd. The company is now securing research development contracts from external companies and were invited to participate in an international transport exhibition by LNER.
