Aveni develops software that uses AI, machine learning, and natural language processing to analyse financial advisors' client interactions, designed to save time at the analysis stage.
Aveni Ltd (formerly Hatch-AI) delivers next generation natural language processing solutions to the Finance Section. Our first product is Aveni Detect which takes conversations between a bank and its customers and flags up conversations which might contain risks such as vulnerable customers or indications of fraudulent behaviour. This project is actively being developed as a proof of concept for 3 financial advice firms and 2 large utility companies. The Aveni Labs team are senior Professors and Research Scientists at the University of Edinburgh, School of Informatics. We work with industry and academic partners to deliver cutting edge research across AI, ML and NLP. Our experience of delivering large multi-national projects ensures an effective transition of cutting edge research into practical, industry applications.
Hatch-AI has won third place in the Times Fintech Competition Scotland in December 2018. We are a finalist in the Scottish Edge competition in November 2019. We have won a SMART award from Scottish Enterprise in Feb 2020. We are a registered supplier for Key Financials and have POCs with Northumbrian Water, Scottish Power, and Schroders We have had a second round of funding through TriCapita Funding.
