To adopt and apply adjoint simulation methods to optimise the performance of water treatment systems for specific operational targets. To create new IPR for beneficial features, reduce time to market and minimise product development resource requirement.

To jointly develop an Innovation Management Capability (IMC) together with a marketing toolkit that will be employed across the key regions and disciplines, to deliver a portfolio of growth in products and services.

This is an application for funding to gain expert knowledge in sensor and monitoring technology. This knowledge will assist with the selection or development of devices to establish sediment depth in wastewater treatment processes and drainage structures. Determining sediment depth will allow on-demand pumping and maintenance processes which will deliver significant energy and cost savings to the customer and increase the sustainability of the infrastructure.
