"**Need -** Both global demand for customisation and knitted athletic footwear are rapidly increasing, however customised knitted footwear cannot be mass produced because of factors including the inadequate dimensional tolerance of custom knitwear, varying yarn properties and the need for improved order management and customisation technologies. **Project -** KICK aims to prove the technical and commercial viability of innovative technologies to address the opportunity.
