This study will assess the feasibility of using a novel inline gas injection (IGI) technology for gas flotation applications used to separate oil and water prior to discharge. The new device, which has no moving parts and requires no maintenance, will produce small gas bubbles in order to increase the efficiency and application of the gas flotation process, resulting in environmental, cost and production benefits to the UK O&G sector.
