Beinghuman Ltd (Beinghuman), led by Gaynor O'Flynn, and Chris Lovell is a UK cultural industries SME with a reputation for innovation in the CreaTech sector. Beinghuman is developing an app that integrates Unreal Engine's (UE's) assets with legacy hardware protocols into a physical space. UE is a leader in the virtual production (VP) market, driving a revolution in the film industry that has enormous potential across the wider Cultural Industry sector. Game engines can make VP accessible, but integrating them with current standards remains a difficult challenge for cultural industry professionals. Beinghuman's innovative yet affordable app generates efficiencies and economies in the VP workflow and pipeline and supports cross-sector creativity. The app empowers users to enhance their productions (e.g. films, TV shows and live experiences) with VP sets, lighting and sound design, helping them to create exciting, innovative digital products, services and offerings.

**The Human Being App** The Human Being App (the app) is a simple, robust, affordable app for iPhone X and newer (iPhone) that creates a personalised, life-like avatar in real-time on a smart phone. The early stage, human-centred design project creates a proof of concept (PoC), that allows users to connect with Unreal Engine's (UE) Metahuman to create avatars that look, sound and move like them. Enabling the crowd to use VR to engage, perform and contribute to art, culture, heritage and entertainment experiences in real-time via their smartphone. The app opens up the possibilities of 5G, game engines and the metaverse creating live or pre-recorded experiences that engage the audience in a creative, performative, personal and embodied way. The app is easy to use and you do not need headsets, VR booths, expensive motion capture or LED screens to feel 'immersed' in the experience. Individuals simply record or stream themselves talking, performing or responding via their phone. Producers can set parameters for the audience's interactions and the digital assets can later be treated in UE and integrated into the digital set of a show, art work, exhibition or experience you can watch on your phone or live. The app automates the avatar creation and placement process, building a relationship with the audience and meets the need of these customers to positively engage as creators not only passive receivers of cultural experiences. The early stage, feasibility study creates a proof of concept app, tested on 10 preset UE Metahumans that respects privacy rights, is transparent regarding data use and embeds best design practice. The PoC app will be designed and tested for iPhone, using the power of 5G to connect with maximum fidelity and minimum latency. The app can also discover insights about consumer's issues, motivation, perceptions and behavior with a desirable, fit-for-purpose solution that is fun, engaging and unites tribes across creativity, causes and cultural industry sectors. With the potential for a multiverse of future uses both in CreaTech, gaming and the wider digital economies post R&D, and makes Beinguman market ready for when UE opens the Metahuman's API's to create a new generation of realistic, real-time avatars.
