Public Funding for Vere Experiences Cic

The Vere Experiences 'Imagina(xr)ium' project harnesses emerging opportunities within virtual world creativity and innovation to create real wellbeing benefits. The need for the project emerged through the 'Connecting Realities' project arm of the CIC--a Bevan Exemplar initiative--which has developed an active toolkit for healthcare professionals wishing to successfully integrate VR solutions into their existing interventions. The XR and healthcare industry is ready for a leap in the creative quality of experiences available through an increasing resource-base of viewing equipment. This project aims to fulfil this need, bringing leading VR developers to work in collaboration with artists, poets, musicians and other creatives challenged to bring their work to the XR arena for the first time, working co-productively with healthcare professionals and service-users to increase quality of life for people at risk of isolation.
