Public Funding for Sign Solutions (Sign Language Interpreting Agency) Ltd

Sign Solutions (SLIA) Ltd have recently launched a service called 'InterpretersLive!' which provides Deaf people with on-demand access to a British Sign Language Interpreter. The service can be used for short meetings between Deaf and hearing people and the BSL Interpreter will Interpret the meeting via Video link. The service also enables Deaf people to make and receive phone calls through the system. Companies are now providing a link to our service on the 'contact us' part of their website, so Deaf people can call these companies as a hearing person would but using their first language of BSL via a BSL Interpreter who relays the entire call. We currently hold the ISO 9001:2008 standard and we would like to achieve the ISO 27001 accreditation to ensure that we demonstrate our commitment to prevent the theft, loss, damage or misuse of any sensitive information it holds or has access to.
