The Acorn Digital Learning (ADL) vision is to improve the educational outcomes for Looked After Children using an online school to support their learning on transition into a care placement, between placements and provide additional catch up support. In other word to level up the playing field for a Looked after child in terms of educational outcomes. The key objectives are to: a) improve the outcomes for Looked after Children b) help Local Authorities meet their legal obligations in terms of education provision c) deliver an efficient, cost effective and holistic education support to Looked after Children
