BM Tech has developed equipment and knowledge specifically for the recycling of cooling tower plastic media and waste water plastic media which until now had not been recycled and was typically landfilled. With the aid of the Innovate UK grant BM Tech working with Loughborough University has developed additives which improve the reprocessing and mechanical properties of the uPVC when extruded into new products.
