Feasibility Studies
Treebox (treebox.co.uk) sell and install green walls. These are panel systems for growing plants vertically. Green walls have a number of environmental benefits and resorative features, including improving air quality, regulating building temperature, noise attenuation, offering opportunities to inclusively grow food in city limits, better water management, reduce energy consumption etc. This project sets out to investigate the feasibility of Treebox shifting their business model to recover and recycle all of the materials used in the installation of their vertical gardens and look at opportunities for improving the product in terms of environmental and functional performance. The aims of the new designs are to be more environmentally friendly but also to leverage opportunities to create a better and more efficient business with happier users.
