1% of all NHS inpatient episodes in England and 2% in Scotland in 2010/11 are due to stroke, and reducing the length of stay in hospital is key to minimising the cost of these episodes. Reflex Arc, and our partner Hassell Inclusion, will investigate how bespoke stroke rehabilitation games can be created and evaluated to measure how well they help patients through their rehabilitation, both with therapists in the hospital and in their continued rehabilitation after leaving the hospital.
