This project presents a revolutionary new approach for motion analysis within sports science. Using latest multimodal machine learning techniques, in combination with the most recent advances in electronics hardware, we have identified an opportunity to produce a market leading product at a fraction of the cost of the current market leaders. We have evidence of significant demand pull for our product, with a strong appetite from end-users for a new solution offering value, convenience and quality. Our team comprises leading technologists and thought leaders from the world of sport, internationally recognised for their prior achievements. The 6 month project will include laboratory testing, ensuring we achieve the technical quality thresholds required for market uptake. An industry stakeholder group (including leading coaches, media representatives and end-users) will help guide outputs and address barriers to mainstream use, in order expedite market adoption within 2 years. Ultimately, the outcome of this project will be a transformation of our solution into a viable commercial proposition, providing a range of benefits to the UK economy, with the additional potential of significant expansion into global markets.
