**Explore 2.0** is an innovative digital trail platform designed to get more people moving in the places they already live, learn, work and play. By using QR codes to create interactive trails, Explore turns everyday environments into spaces for movement, discovery and connection. Whether it's a school encouraging children to move more during lessons, a community hosting a family wellbeing trail, or a business supporting staff to take active breaks, Explore makes physical activity simple, engaging and accessible. This project will develop the next generation of the platform - giving schools, community groups, councils and organisations the tools to create, manage and share their own Explore trails independently. Explore 2.0 will include an improved mobile experience, inclusive onboarding tools, and interactive features like scoring and geolocation to encourage sustained participation. Backed by a strong social mission, Explore 2.0 is about much more than digital infrastructure - it's about making movement a joyful, everyday part of people's lives. It has already been piloted in 17 schools and some community and business settings. This project will strengthen the platform and prepare it for national scale. Led by Go Well, a North East-based social enterprise with a 10-year track record of inspiring and building healthy active futures, Explore 2.0 aims to empower communities to move more - not through pressure or prescription, but by making activity fun, meaningful and part of the fabric of local life.
