Sound Communities will be developing a new strand, 'Sound Alive', which will provide a wide range of products and services to help local and regional partners within the arts, cultural and community sectors bring their events to life. This development will support the increase in our traded income to make our organisation more sustainable while providing multiple opportunities for skills development within our growing staff team and student cohort. We will work closely with regional partner and specialists in projection mapping, Black Beam Cinematics. They will help us to cost and purchase the best equipment for our needs. We will then develop resources to market this new offer effectively and to integrate it's use within our curriculum. Our current practise in photography, VJing, DJing, film-making, live performance, animation live streaming will be complimented by this innovative technology to produce immersive artistic performances and creative interdisciplinary outcomes for our students.
