Feasibility Studies
This project is to further develop our labour market analytics platform (Stratigens(tm)) to identify existing locations for PEMD skills and to identify adjacent skills pools that could be accessed by companies needing to find talent in order to drive the electric revolution. By creating a specific PEMD skills module that will define the PEMD skills gap, identify pools of talent and pools of talent that could be upskilled or reskilled most easily, we can specifically address the skills and talent needs of the PEMD sector. The traditional approach for companies to get this talent and skills insight is to spend considerable time on research projects with external consultancies. The PEMD version of Stratigens will provide insight within seconds, at a fraction of the cost of traditional research approaches. This approach is innovative as it focuses on the skills gap, accessibility and potential to upskill and reskill for very specific skills using large, aggregated external datasets we have already developed. The retraining of our machine learning module to identify adjacent skills for retraining will help companies in the PEMD space understand their skills supply chain, enabling them to make data led workforce decisions with confidence.

Collaborative R&D
This application is to develop a working model that analyses the flow of female engineering talent in the UK. Success in this competition will enable us to build and scale an additional module to Stratigens, that will not only help businesses better attract, recruit and retain female engineering talent, but will also inform government and skills council on the size of the skills gap, how this will change and the ability to model options to address the gap to increase female representation in engineering roles in the UK. This application will also allow the project lead, Alison Ettridge, to further develop her skills to scale the business and Stratigens proposition by 150% by the end of Q1 2022\. This application will help to bridge the gap between big data that is already available through the Stratigens platform, industry and government by connecting an Innovate UK scale up business with government bodies, networks, skills councils and industry leaders to the benefit of all parties and to meet the common goal of increasing gender diversity in STEM so the UK can benefit by XYZ
