"ARiVR will provide immersive content developers with new tools for designing AR and VR content faster and more efficiently. There are two major points of innovation: a content delivery system that will allow real-time updates to immersive content environments (both by the original designer and third party designers), and create an opportunity to provide new analytic data alongside these content updates to measure new features of user engagement. By combining these two features together into a single platform we believe this will result in a virtuous content creation cycle: 1. Primary content designers will create content ""slots"" which they or other ARiVR users can access after content production. Depending on the type of slot, developers could later add flat 2D displays, sounds, simple 3D objects, or complex, functional 3D objects. 2. Assets displayed in slots can be dependent on the demographic profile of the user (a 30 year old man may see one object, a 45 year old woman another). This feature will facilitate personalisation or for A/B testing. 3. New analytic features, including gaze time and object interaction, will provide designers with new levels of insight for testing and improving designs. This feedback will allow developers to quickly and efficiently optimise user experience, entertainment value, or advertising conversion. 4. As ARiVR allows developers to access slots at any time, new design iterations can be quickly and easily introduced, tested, and improved. Updating immersive content using current technology is cumbersome. Developers must either bundle new design options into the original production, or add them via patches. These changes, when possible, require a higher disk footprint and have no analytic feedback. In other instances, developers have made rudimentary steps towards either VR/AR analytics, or product placement, but no is currently designing a system that combines both and allows real-time content updates. If ARiVR succeeds, it will become easier to produce **profitable** VR/AR content, allowing more content to be created. In turn this should spur device sales and innovation, supporting industry growth. Google earned an estimated $73.8 billion from 2D digital ads in 2017 alone. If ARiVR managed to replicate even a tiny fraction of its success in the immersive content sector, it could result in an enormous new market for digital content production. ARiVR will be developed by Rocketmakers, specialists in innovative digital product design, with three content production partners: Opposable Games, Virtual View Productions, and Whiley & Blake."
