Company description
FabRx is the creation of three academics from University College London, who saw the potential of 3D printing technology for making better medicines. Established in 2014, FabRx is a rapidly growing biotech business that is developing printed medicines and drug-loaded medical devices. FabRx can design and develop drug-loaded polymers for fused-filament printing into controlled or modified release tablets and caplets or polymer-drug blends for SLA printing into tablets and medical devices.
FabRx operates a biotechnology business, which develops 3D printing technology for the precision manufacture of medicines and medical devices.

AI-Driven Digital Twin for Enhancing Productivity and Resource Efficiency in 3D-Printed Personalised Pharmaceuticals (3DDTBPRE)
1 Feb 2025 to 31 Jul 2026
The demand for personalised medicine is rapidly increasing, driven by the high costs of advanced therapies and the need for flexible drug delivery methods. This is especially crucial in paediatric medicine, where medications are often crushed or weighed per dose, leading to errors, inaccuracies, and reduced effectiveness. Organisations like the National I...
