Public Funding for Other Housing Ltd

Other Housing (OH) aims to support the emergence of innovative models of housing provision through facilitating the interactions amongst interested parties and harnessing the value of contributions of volunteer participants and specialists towards the implementation of housing projects that are more just and inclusive. One key apect of OH is the focus on collective projects, where housing is conceived as a positive contribution to the urban fabric and environment, the local economy, local community and wider society. Other Housing will support and facilitate the emergence of a community of practice of citizens interested in contributing to the production of housing that is ethically and ecologically appropriate. An accessible digital portal will help to collect experiences and track projects, whilst enabling new housing projects and groups to form and develop.
