"Cardiac rehabilitaiton is an integral part of the treatment for patients suffering from heart attack. It has proven beneficial short and longterm outcomes. National guidelines recommend that patients suffering from heart attacks should undergo a comprehensive cardiac rehabilitation program. However due to personal and logistic reasons this target is not achieved all patients. Reasons for this include; lack of time, lack of places in a convenient rehabilitation centre, culturual and language barriers etc... We hope that by developing a mobile application we will create a more tailored personal approach. This will allow more flexibility and ease of use with better patient's experience. Leading to better uptake of the service. It is important to stress that this projects does not replace but rather complements the current cardiac rehabilitation program. "
