Taking a product idea from concept through to commercialisation requires a wide range of skills and experience. Each stage requires something new and having commissioned designs and proof of concept models I must now navigate the technical roads of prototyping and mold design - two areas that I have only limited experience in. Additional expertise at this stage would likely make the difference between success and failure.
