**ISS Aerospace** is a UK-based Uncrewed Air Vehicle (UAV) manufacturer specialising in the design, development and production of high-performance integrated unscrewed air platforms deployed in land and marine environments and used by defence, security and oil and gas clients. **Marshall Aerospace** is a long established UK aerospace business specialising in MRO services and the design, modification and certification of complex aircraft. **Marshall Futureworx** has been created to identify and develop a new generation of products and services that deliver innovative solutions for relevant and timely global and societal problems. Together **Futureworx** and **ISS Aerospace** are developing a solution to provide safe, efficient inspection services for offshore wind farms using resident autonomous UAVs, optimising operations and maintenance with reliable data whilst enabling sustainable industry growth. UK MoD has an ongoing requirement for both intra-theatre (rotary wing) and inter-theatre (rotary- or fixed-wing) heavy lift UAS platforms. At present battery powered rotary-wing intra-theatre capability is available but is constrained by limited endurance and range. The use of batteries in front line environments is logistically challenging given their need for repeated and frequent recharging. Hence, **ISS** supported by **Futureworx** will develop and certify a turbine-generator powered heavy lift VTOL UAS based on ISS's proven Sensus architecture which will deliver the performance needed for : •. Ship-to-ship / Ship-to-shore / Middle / Last Mile resupply •. Off-Board Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance •. Stand-off Kinetic effects / Weapon Payloads including decoys and jammers •. Casualty Evacuation and Search & Rescue •. Port agency services, harbour management and border surveillance •. Mail delivery **ISS's** planned Sensus MX8-XT UAS will deliver payloads of up to 250kg over 50km and it will be interoperable across all UK and NATO forces. Its platform architecture will assure its inherent safety and it will be designed, manufactured and certified using **Marshall's** Design Organisation privileges. Furthermore Sensus MX8-XT will exploit developments in digital and robotic technologies to improve supply chain management, planning optimisation and automation and will capitalise on technologies developed and exploited within the commercial sector.
