The Advanced Services Group helps manufacturing companies develop services-led strategies and transform their business models to compete through advanced services.
The company was incorporated on 21st October 2015 so it is still in the process of its development. The Advanced Services Group Limited is made up of ASG Research, ASG Consulting and ASG Programmes. The Advanced Services Group Ltd is the spinout business of the university that has been created to accelerate impact and exploit commercialization of knowledge and intellectual property on servitization, advanced services, and methods of accelerating adoption by practice (eg: gamifications). It exists to facilitate an effective business engagement and capture the commercial value of servitization.
The company hosts the Advanced Services Partnership, a group of international companies interested in learning more about/ going through the transformation process to a servitization business model. Relationships built with this group of companies will enable them to transform their businesses and will give our researchers unprecedented access to the challenges companies face managing the change. This in turn will help inform development of our gamified communication and educational tools and future business engagement.
