This project addresses the complexities of employee onboarding, a process filled with legal, financial, and regulatory challenges, especially for the UK's micro and small companies.
These challenges not only lead to legal and financial non-compliance, costing businesses significantly, but also drive a preference for subcontracting which can result in contractors missing out on crucial employment benefits and prevent financial inclusion and mobility. This exacerbates disparities in employment history and salary progression for vulnerable worker groups.
Utilising advanced Artificial Intelligence methods this project offers a streamlined solution which automates the entire employment onboarding journey end-to-end journey from issuing the first offer letter, over checking references and employment requirements to processing the first salary.
By automating compliance checks and document generation, this project significantly reduces administrative burdens and compliance risks.

The UK is walking into a "Pension Crisis" as people are saving below what they need to sustain a living in retirement without having to be supported by the government with COVID-19 accelerating the problem. 75% of UK adults lack a pension savings target and only 3% say that they know their target retirement pot. PayCaptain's solution SmartSave combines artificial intelligence algorithms and human behaviour-based UI/UX into one simple and intuitive smartphone App in order to help Brits get out of debt, save for an emergency, and build a pension pot large enough not to require government assistance. SmartSave will operate at the core of the PayCaptain Solution alongside an HMRC approved payroll engine, FCA authorised e-money platform, mobile apps and third-party integrations.
