Active Needle Technology produces a device for medical procedures involving the insertion of a needle into the patient. It aims to overcome the problem of needle visibility and guidance when using ultrasound, by using ultrasonic vibrations.

ActiveNeedle makes standard needle visible in colour under Doppler ultrasound. Active Needle Technology reduces penetration force and thus tip deflection.
