Public Funding for IGMD Ltd

This is a Proof of Market project to assess the needs and requirements for a specialist cushion to relieve the pain associted with lower back pain and in particular sciatica. Lower back pain affects one third of the adult population of the UK each year and those with sciatica symptoms are 5 times more likely to take pain medication than those without. It is hoped that as well as reducing pain the cushion will facilitate the users return to work and full involvement in family and social activities whilst reducing their need for pain medication. The project is hoped to generate export income to the UK and create jobs.
