Utilising a combination of dynamic storytelling, modern technology and dynamic design, users solve clues and riddles at famous locations as they follow Bonny, a pirate on the run, on her journey to escape. Each location unlocks the next, with opportunities to add on visits to museums and historical sites along the way. Housed in app, and enjoying immersive audio, video and illustrations, visitors, whether solo or in small groups, will get to know York in a whole new way, shining light on untold histories, and introducing them to the rich blend of businesses housed in York today, from chocolatiers to thriving markets. Once the two-hour adventure ends, visitors can continue their experience on the app to revisit the sites, and dive deeper into the locations heritage. Live leader boards and annual meet-ups offer the opportunity to win prizes and connect with like minded people.
