Collaborative R&D
KultraLab is a behavioural science & technology consulting firm, focused on empowering consumer organisations to create sustainable behavioural change. We have been developing Kultra, a service due to be launched in late 2021\. Large organisations, and retail in particular is facing a generational challenge with COVID-19 accelerating the shift to online working and shopping. To meet the increasing expectations of consumers retail has to provide a service that must go beyond already high standards in the industry. To do so, staff have to be empowered to provide the best possible service. Kultra gives employees in multi-site companies a tool in their hands that prompts them to complete individualised training packages and to network with team members around peer support and collaborative learning. All powered by the latest understanding from behavioural science and AI sentiment analysis and natural language processing.
Kultra involves base capability of companies and individuals being assessed through a questionnaire. A Behavioural Change Platform suggests tailored learning packages they can access through their devices. An AI chat-bot prompts them to maintain their progress and reinforce their learning, combating the forgetting curve. From here, employees are prompted to communicate with team members around this training focused on personal growth, encouraging collaborative learning and team cohesion.
Behaviours learned include active listening, critical thinking and data literacy, creating a workforce better equipped to grow in their careers and meet the needs of customers.
Kultra is aimed at companies that are not just multi-site, but are often multi-country. Behavioural science also tells us individuals from different countries tend to react in slightly different ways. This GCF funding enables KultraLabs to validate their approach with a typical target company that has offices in Holland, Germany and France. These are core countries in the European markets and an approach that works there is indicative of success elsewhere.
Kultra will explore this market more generally, and build an approach to unite employees to meet the opportunities of this new era, meeting and sharing their learning no matter which country they are working in. To meet the needs of the customers of the globally minded companies that drive economic growth.
