Public Funding for Happy Marlo Limited

'_Happy Marlo & Friends_' is a new content series aimed at young children, empowering them with skills and emotional support to help them navigate the ups and downs of growing up. Our content explores emotions and feelings alongside our young viewers, whilst providing them with holistic resources designed to provide them with mindful practices proven to support emotional management and regulation. This project will see the development of a range of characters, storylines, and a mini-pilot episode to be tested amongst Reception and Year One children, alongside a companion multi-lesson plan pack to be used by teachers in class. We intend to reach 500 children during our testing of this project through our existing relationships with six London schools. We aim to leverage children's universal love of characters and storytelling to deliver healthy, interactive content, which is both scalable in terms of reach, with the potential to positively impact children's emotional health both in the UK, and internationally. We expect our evaluation and reporting to demonstrate reduced symptoms of anxiety, improved self-regulation, better sleep, and increased feelings of calm amongst our sample of children.
