From the ''Circularity Gap Report 2022'' by Circle Economy, we learned that: * ''our world is experiencing rising waste levels and as of today 90% of all materials extracted are used and wasted.'' * it's important we scale the adoption of Circular Economy solutions, in the next 5 years * Digital Tools are necessary enabler of successful Circularity solution, in fact: '_'Increased transparency in the supply chain, and more data capture at products' end-of-use'' will be needed for getting the most impact on Circular Economy initiatives''_. Waste oil is a major pollutant, over 6 billion litres generated/year, the largest amount of liquid, non-aqueous, waste in the world. Only 1/3 gets re-refined, the rest is either lost in the environment or burnt as fuel. Our technology enables waste oil to be collected and fully regenerated for re-use many times. The heart of the product is an innovative patented cartridge technology, akin to a printer cartridge , which allows for a quick, green and smart oil change. This combined with an **Innovative Digital platform** will enable waste oil and plastic to be tracked and traced through the Circular Ecosystem. This project is set to **develop our** **digital technology solution** to support our oil cartridge system in order to enable and accelerate the transition to a circular model for waste oil and potentially other waste stream such as EV batteries, coolant for EV batteries and tyres. The CirculOil digital platform will track and trace every cartridge around the circular ecosystem from first manufacturer, to filling, usage, collection, refurbishment, remanufacturing and re-use. The CirculOil Digital solution will also support our customers and partners with knowledge, data-driven insights, and tools to accelerate their circular journey, and is set to increase our operations efficiency and overall business value/sales, by widening the range of solutions that we offer.​ The data and insights we gain will enable us to provide additional services and benefits to our customers, such as asset tracking (live vehicle/machine location and hours run) plus automated and efficient oil replenishment.
