Underrepresented founders are struggling to get investment. We'd like to change that using design. Design plays a crucial role in helping founders become more investable, but also has diversity issues. We have enormous potential to revolutionise both the startup and design industry by promoting diversity, equity and inclusion. Design the Future is a platform that connects underrepresented founders, including Black, LGBTQ+ and female entrepreneurs, with the best and most diverse design talent. Our goal is to establish a platform that facilitates a diverse talent pool to create better, more innovative and user-centered products that are inclusive. The resulting platform can help make under- represented founders more investable and increase their chances of success. The platform will showcases top design talent, from areas such as: leadership, branding, Human Centred Design, UX/UI, product design, motion design and 3D. Our platform is diverse and curated - designed to help founders discover a star for their project offering their services at reasonable prices and/or for equity. As an invite-only platform, we connect our founders with exceptional up-and-coming design talent that has the potential to make an impact. Our commission-free model and equity funding business model is innovative compared to other platforms such as Upwork.
