Company description

ReCon2 develops technology to measure, analyse and quantify the percentage of recycled plastic in a product.

Recon 2 is a not-for-profit spin-out company from the University of Manchester that provides a low-cost method for certifying the recycled content in plastic products and packaging, using a patented fluorescent marking technology.

ReCon^2 was established to enable quantification of recycled content in plastic packaging, supporting both reporting on the plastic packaging tax and an associated trust mark certificate.
