To assist with the move to a Net Zero Carbon, Zero Waste, Circular economy, we have developed a new and innovative process for businesses of all sizes to quickly and easily undertake monitoring and assessments of their own waste management practices which, supported by a mobile application, will provide: * Up-to-date and real-time metrics on waste and resource management, including Carbon emissions and recycling rates. * Guidance, tips, and quick wins for avoiding waste, reusing and recycling more, and procuring waste collection services tailored to business needs. * An assessment of compliance with Workplace Recycling Regulations (for businesses in Wales). The tool will allow business users to save money on waste management costs whilst reducing their environmental impacts and resource dependency - encouraging growth and resilience. Guidance provided by the tool will empower businesses to procure the waste services tailored to their needs at a fair price. Business owners and employees will improve green skills and be enabled to affect behavioural change across their organisation. The tool will allow for environmental improvements to be reported against sustainability goals and policies through recognised Carbon accounting metrics. This project is designed to test the processes included in the tool and will benefit early users in the South-West Wales region, as they will receive free, hands-on guidance and support from our highly experienced team of waste managers.
