U.S-based battery manufacturer Nanotech Energy (NE) wishes to investigate the viability of expanding its production facilities to the UK. The facility would allow NE's to bring the value of their patented, high-performing, non-flammable Graphene-Organolyte(tm) batteries and other graphene-enhanced products to the UK in the most environmentally sustainable fashion, supercharging the broader development of industry in the fields served by these offerings, with the cascading effect of creating thousands of jobs in tech and ensuring the UK remains competitive in global markets. NE's proprietary, graphene-enhanced, nanotechnologies remain on the cutting-edge and are applied in many advanced material fields to increase efficiency and sustainability from circuit boards to energy storage devices. With a strong focus on sustainability, NE has also developed novel IP and patents for end-of-life processing and recycling, to reduce waste, and increase overall value through a closed loop system. NE would like to embark on a comprehensive feasibility study to assess the commercial and logistical viability of setting up a battery manufacturing facility in the UK.
