Our Lessons in Loss care packages are designed to help children who have suffered loss, Tailormade journals with original artwork form part of a creative care box for children, and will be available to schools, social care, charities, and other organisations. Additional support guides for trusted adults and professionals will be available for each journal. Care boxes will be available online via our e-commerce website, allowing parents and guardians the opportunity to individualise their care package to meet the specific needs of their child. The care packages offer grieving and bereaved children emotional support through creative tasks, helping them to navigate their feelings and reduce long-term trauma. Each journal has been created by a specialist in how children grieve with support from additional experts including a consultant in special needs, as well as support from psychologists and educational professionals. Along with the bespoke 120-page creative journal and guide for the supporting adult, each care package will contain various art supplies and an emotional support toy. Together, these items form part of an off-the-shelf, easily accessible care package. The adult guides support parents and professionals to achieve the best possible outcome for the child who has suffered loss.
