This project aims to develop a next-generation AI/ML-powered hybrid cybersecurity device that proactively detects and neutralizes evolving cyber threats. As AI-driven attacks increase, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and domestic users remain especially vulnerable, with limited access to advanced cybersecurity tools. This solution will bridge that gap by delivering robust, automated defence in an accessible and affordable format. Led by Audra Solutions Ltd in collaboration with Anglia Ruskin University (ARU), the project will build a novel smart firewall-router device embedded with AI algorithms capable of real-time threat detection, behaviour analysis, and proactive response. The system will be managed through a user-friendly mobile app, requiring no technical expertise. Designed for simplicity and scalability, it will include pre-configured security settings and seamless compliance with industry standards. This project will give better protection to users who are often left behind and reduce their exposure to ransomware and phishing attacks. It will also support the UK's digital economy.
