A new and innovative material, a ductile low temperature thermoplastic with a laid in substrate, is ideal for use in the production of bespoke mouldings, ducting and aerodynamics in the motorsport industry. In solid form, the material is highly impact resistant and rigid. The material can also be sanded, polished, drilled, threaded and cut easily. Once heated above 60 degrees the material can be moulded to a buck by hand or through vacuum-bagging process. The process is quick and can be carried out multiple times. In this higher temperature state the material can be attached to itself as well as metal brackets and other materials.
The short time periods for production, ease of manipulation, no requirement for special equipment or facilities, as well as the opportunity for repairs or modifications after use - make the material revolutionary in the market in comparison to existing materials such as carbon fibre.
It is low carbon impact, safe and biodegradable.
