Ultrasound Technology for Real-Time Monitoring in Automotive Glass Manufacturing We propose using ultrasound technology to address the industrial challenge of monitoring the sag-bending process for automotive glass in real-time. Ultrasound waves can travel through the air and interact with objects, allowing for precise measurements. Similar to sensors used in vehicles for obstacle detection and distance estimation, our technology uses ultrasonic waves to detect and measure the distance between the transducer and the glass surface. The reflected echo is then processed into useful information, providing real-time monitoring capabilities.
