Public Funding for Changeover Technologies Limited

Changeover Technologies (CTL) have developed innovative technology which could address three environmental challenges, which we believe, can offset each other, and combine into one beneficial solution. This de-carbonisation technology will address waste fly ash, a significant environmental problem in countries such as India. Waste fly ash can negatively affect the environment through air pollution, water pollution soil contamination, and may even displace wildlife and disrupt ecosystems. Secondly, organic & bio-solid wastes will be addressed, which when not effectively managed, can release greenhouse gases and other harmful substances into the atmosphere. This will be particularly important for countries that do not have sustainable waste management systems in place. Additionally, CTL have focused on addressing arid landscaping and terraforming, an important challenge for countries such as the UAE and Saudi Arabia. This will have negative effects on soil such as decreased fertility, as well as destructing habitats leading to biodiversity loss. Resorting deserts is a particularly important green challenge of the UAE and Saudi Arabia. This technology works by recycling the waste utility ash and organics, combining them into a soil enhancing, PH balancing and water retaining pellet. The pellets are particularly well-suited for dry and arid landscapes, and can be distributed to desert areas for agro-forestry projects that support green initiatives. This innovative technology offers a cost-effective and unique approach to waste management by recycling it back into the value chain, thereby promoting a circular economy. Additionally, the project is expected to have significant benefits for the UK, through the creation of a number of job opportunities, promote innovation and economic growth.
