Validaid is an innovative platform that targets the critical gap between charities, social enterprises, and funders, whilst shining a spotlight on the areas of diversity, equity and inclusivity. By aggregating and analysing financial, governance, and impact data on charities and social enterprises, Validaid is able to help people who want to understand where the gaps exist between men and women, people with disabilities, as well as people in deprived areas, and then give them the tools and knowledge to efficiently get funding and support to those areas. The platform matches organisations working in these areas with suitable funders and impact investors, thereby streamlining the funding process and increasing knowledge, transparency and efficiency of support. There has always been a pronounced disjoint between charities, which are integral to our communities, and the funders they rely on. This is primarily due to outdated systems that keep data siloed, creating opacity and a significant lack of trust. This offers a multi-layered approach to giving, catering to various user types. Rather than focusing on solely corporate giving, it goes beyond corporations to also encompass nonprofits and charitable foundations, allowing them to use Validaid for both in-country donations under their own charitable entity, and engage with our DAF products for situations where they lack a presence in specific territories. This not only unifies their giving efforts into one system but can also be run for a fraction of the cost and effort of creating/managing their own foundation.
