To develop and implement novel peatland management and restoration techniques, facilitating the long-term, responsible use of the distillery's wholly owned peatland resource, thereby enabling them to produce whisky of consistent character, whilst minimising its environmental cost and adhering to legislative requirements for Scotch whisky manufacture.
