Elfie's online craft café will sell original crafts made by adult learners across Scotland and deliver a range of fun online craft workshops through the Elfie's website. Our craft workshops are unique and offer a flavour of the range of activities we can develop for adults and families through an online portal. The website offers a friendly non threatening programme designed to encourage people to try something new. We will run 6 and 8 week programmes alongside one-day events aimed at bringing people together to share talents and develop new employment opportunities for people who might otherwise have missed out on getting into work. The website will set out the stories of the learners and their journey to craft work acting as inspiration for others to follow their own dreams. Additional Deliverables 1. Improve customer-crafter online learning experience through the addition of an online learning portal that supports a blended learning delivery. The original plan was to develop online courses using zoom, teams and google classroom. The addition of the moodle learning board would allow us to expand the range of opportunities, in the long terms from crafts to other types of non-formal learning including recycling, painting, language learning book clubs, etc., 2. Development of style guides that link learning with an online portfolio of skills for the customer 3. Establish social media profiles to build the brand message and raise awareness of the site 4. Create new films and short videos to improve customer experience and engagement and develop a PR schedule to improve traffic to the site 5. Build in customer experience to first year of delivery using interactive prototyping to the online training platform 6. Establish new product line of learning at home boxes designed to support distance learning objectives Covid 19 has seen Labour market changes as well as an increase in people doing online shopping and enrolling in online educational and leisure courses which places Elfie’s in the forefront of this change and able to respond to the demand.
