Friends of Wilson is a new, Glasgow based consultancy. We design and produce wall panel systems that reduce noise within commercial interiors.We sought help from the Innovation Voucher scheme to work with the University of Salford Acoustic Testing Facility to test the performance of our first panel product to industry standard : UKAS BSEN ISO 354-sound absorbtion. We also required an audio/visual documentation of the test to further demonstrate our product's effectiveness beyond the written results.The test validates our product’s compliance to industry standard, maximising it’s commercial potential. The audio/visual gives us an effective marketing tool that demonstrates to our clients in practical terms how the product improves sound levels within a space.Our aim with both of these measures is to help establish Friends of Wilson within the interior specification market as producers of market-leading acoustic products in terms of design and performance.
