AURUM Biosciences Ltd was established in 2010 as a spin-out medical imaging diagnostic and therapeutic company from Scottish Health Innovations Limited (SHIL), University of Glasgow and GGHB. The company was established as a result of the clear unmet medical need and the business opportunity in the area of stroke, together with the exciting discoveries in identifying the penumbra using novel MRI techniques developed by Dr Santosh and team [published and unpublished].
