Property is a passive income asset typically out of reach of the first time buyer driven by a wide range of factors including the B2L market and the housing boom since the recession. Fractional ownership will allow benefits from the current system without burdening individuals with high levels of debt and the pressure that can bring. A new modern approach to this problem needs to cooperate with the current system of investment and management but allow access for underserved markets into property. In 2020, 41,700 companies were set up for buy-to-let purposes driven by Government legislation changes. While the changes may have driven incorporations, Investment-Tribe's market sounding identifies a pent-up demand from individuals seeking to embark on property investment as a way of countering inflation and rising interest rates. The project will develop the first of its kind FCA-approved blockchain and smart contract platform that allows for property investment and management through fractional ownership, enabling: * Integrated compliance and regulation. * Enhance existing businesses improving efficiency and enabling new market opportunities promoting inclusion. * Fully managed corporate structure and reporting. Through this project, Investment-Tribe will optimise its current platform. The platform will be licensed to property managers and investment companies to open up their investment offerings to a wider demographic lowering potential buy-in to £0.01\. This is possible because of the ability to own property that has manageable administration and is divisible due to the incorporation of blockchain and smart contracts.
